We will observe the feast of Saint Michael and All Angels (Michaelmas) on its proper day, September 29. According to British folklore, Michaelmas is the last day of the year to eat blackberries. It is said that when Saint Michael expelled Satan from heaven, he fell from the skies and landed in a prickly blackberry bush, cursing the fruit and scorching them with his fiery breath. Join us for worship and in singing glorious hymns at Solemn Mass, more musical details to follow, and plan to stay for a sweet coffee hour in the Fellowship Hall.
